Make a difference where it matters most

While there are many meaningful projects at Northwest that donors may support, there are a few that have currently taken the forefront, as listed below. Aligning your interests with Northwest’s needs is our priority.

The Northwest Fund

The Northwest Fund provides annual support to the University with unrestricted gifts that allow the University to meet unforeseen needs as they arise and to capitalize on opportunities as they emerge.

1905 Society

Named in honor of the year Northwest was founded, The 1905 Society is Northwest’s premier giving society for annual gifts. The 1905 Society helps the University foster its tradition of philanthropy by recognizing its most generous supporters on an annual basis.

Scholarships

Students come first at Northwest. It's just that simple. For Northwest to remain competitive, providing meaningful scholarship support is essential for attracting quality students.

Capital Projects

Capital projects include the construction of new facilities and renovation, repair or expansion of existing facilities.

Bearcat Day of Green

Bearcat Day of Green is Northwest’s annual giving day. Join this online event and give to any University fund you feel passionately about!

Employee Annual Giving Campaign

The Employee Annual Giving Campaign is an opportunity for Northwest employees to invest in Northwest.

Endowed Positions

An endowed position recognizes individuals who maintain a high level of productivity and impact during an extended period of time and are considered role models to others.

Bearcats Helping Bearcats

Make an immediate and impactful difference in the lives of fellow Bearcats.

Outreach Center

The Outreach Center houses the University's Bearcat Callers, who are current students. They work Sundays from 2-9 p.m. and Monday - Thursday 6-9 p.m. calling Northwest alumni and friends.

Past Successes

Forever Green Campaign (2014-2021)

The Forever Green campaign sought to raise $45 million for initiatives centered on academic excellence, scholarships, student life, and other donor-directed gifts.
